Feeler Thread: FC Parts
« on: January 31, 2017, 09:55:26 PM »
So I've got my next build in mind and I think it's time to let go off the RX7 that's literally been sitting in my garage now for about 3 years.

I'm planning on selling everything but the Engine. Even the transmission is going.
So here's the 2 paths I'm thinking of.
Part out the FC piece by piece and scrap the shell as it's rusted out at the rockers, and the paint is falling off at this point. Or do I buy  cheap 5.3/4l60 and try to sell the whole car to a kid for 5k locally.
In New england I could probably get that.

The car has a lot of great parts that all have less than 1k miles on them and no real racing time.
2 Clutches - Monster Stage 3 and an Oz Textralia
Full swap parts - Pez Pedestal mounts, with granny's transmission mount
1 3/4 Long tubes
BC Coilovers
2 T2 Rear ends (although I may keep one) with axles
T2 Hood / Brakes
Other odds and ends Radiator/Gauges/ Remote battery mount/fuel pump

Car is an s5 with blue interior so I can't think of anything else that would really bring any value. What do you guys think. I haven't been in the market in a while so don't know what the demand or value for this stuff is anymore

Interested in the coilovers, battery mount and s5 tails if you decide to part it.

Parting it will take longer but probably net more cash.  Plus you save the time and investment of putting a motor on
