29" tire on an FD
« on: December 30, 2015, 01:04:11 PM »
I know 28s have been used by many people before, but has anyone tried a 29" tire and cleared the inner wheel well?

Ordered a set of 305/45-18 555r's last night so I guess we'll find out here shortly if they fit :yay:

Did these end up fitting? What are your rear rim specs too if they did fit...

Nope, too tall. Ended up with a 305/35-18 MT ET2 radial. I've got a narrowed solid axle so my offsets aren't relatable to any other car.
