LOL... it's never "finished". God forbid that day were to come... it would be accompanied by a "For Sale" sign.

OMG pics please! Has he dyno'd with it? What cam specs? Did he have to do anything to the samberg mounts to make it work? Tweaking the biscuits or going solid? What TB is he using?

its a BTR Stage 4 cam.... He got the itch to work on his STI so it hasnt been on the dyno since before he got the heads reworked and the new cam and intake. I am curious to see what it will do also....

Nothing special to the mounts, but as you can see the intake has been shaved and hydrodipped. TB is a holley 102...

If you look at a new one, all of the red logos on top have been shaved off..... That's what I mean by shaved.....

The raised logo's wern't giving any clearance issues right? Like you could straight bolt up a new one and not have to shave it? More of a cosmetic thing?
I'm blown away that he's getting away with using plumbing couplers for his intake. I've had to go to silicone(thinner) and still rub abit on my hinson setup.

I would assume no, but I cant be 100 % sure. He sent the intake off to the dip guy as soon as he got done fitting it. I do know it took some "massaging" of the firewall much like a Fast would. I was there when he went from the hinson subframe to the samberg one and it gave him about 1/2 inch of clearance. That was measured at the rear of the engine.... My car has the hinson subframe and I also went with silicone for the same reason....
