Honda J32/J35 V6 swap?

Something like this for the FC RX7 would be very cool.

But it would have to be designed around the stronger TII trany and differential.  I wonder how long the stock Miata drive train would last with 235-260 ft-lbs or more of torque, even if it is a lighter car.

The Honda J32/J35 V6 would be a sweet setup - not sure it would be any cheaper than a LS based V8 and T56, but it should be slightly lighter.  It would also be more in character with the chassis (rev happy) than say a GM 3800 II V6 or even Nissan VJ30 V6.

I think it would be cool. I ran a 14.2@ 98mph in the 1/4 with my j30 and a 75 shot in my 02 accord (3700lbs) I think the stock components would handle 300hp for a bit.

They make an S2000 trans adapter for them already. The S2k trans fits in the FC awesome.

as far as the J32 itself they'll make just shy of 300 with bolt ons and then around 700whp turbo'd on unopened motors.
