Interest in CNC machine build thread?
«

So I recently got rid of my little CNC milling machine (grizzly g0704 conversion) and also my old Bridgeport mill and bought a CNC Bridgeport knee mill. I'm currently in the middle of building a new control unit and retrofitting a bunch of new stuff to run it...I've got a build thread going on another site and was thinking some guys here might be interested in a machine like this as well...Any interest in me posting starting a build thread here too?

Do it. I'd like to follow along. I've been debating ditching my drill press for a Bridgeport mill for a while, and I know even the standard mills can be retrofit for some NC applications without too much difficulty.

Do it! I'm super interested. Since I do CAD work for 3D printing and have systems setup for it, a small CNC mill (and hopefully lathe) are on my "next 24 months" purchase list.
