So I met this guy today

This video made the local news. The dirt bag that was driving the car should die in prison with a D$&@ in his ass. I met the guy taking the video. Actually he bought my ZX10R today. I was being nice because I wanted his money but it took so serious self restraint not to go off on the guy. He isn't really moving with a sense of purpose when there were many things to be done. What the hell!

I'd like to hear the rest of the conversation.  The car driver's statement won't help his case at all.

I did notice that the bikers were clearly passing in a NO PASSING ZONE, so this will probably be ruled to be the biker's fault, and rightly so.  Those double lines are there for a reason.
Also, the one shooting the video should be charged with reckless driving as well.

No those guys on the bikes are free and clear legally. That guy driving is a lifetime turd. Hes go up on attempted murder or assualt with a deadly weapon. That poor girl (who wasnt wearing gear by the way) will get reconstructive surgery for a significant amount of time to fix that left arm. Sure they shoukdnt have been passing but that isnt punishable by death.

What is wrong with (some) people these days? Its like the doctor in California (Dr Christopher Thompson) that got in front of a couple bicyclists on a long downhill on his street and slammed on the brakes, one broke out the rear window with his face and almost tore off his nose. He did the same thing of getting in front and hitting the brakes to another bicyclist 6 months before, the cyclist managed to avoid hitting him, but called the police and put in a report, that history plus the dr saying to the cop that he was "teaching them a lesson" put him in jail, he was sentenced to 5 years. Seriously, how could the driver in the video justify, on any level, knocking the motorcyclist down, seems pretty sociopathic.

I'm not justifying what the car driver did, but you need to accept that when you do something wrong (passing illegally) you must accept the consequences.

Many years ago I nearly took out a biker in a similar situation.
I pulled up to an intersection, turning right.  A biker was passing at high speed on a double yellow.
I looked left and pulled out.  I barely managed to miss him.  It would've been his fault, but I sure didn't want to see him crash.  I do hope it scared the crap out of him though.

no way man. I ride every single day and I'm witness to many levels of stupid from both cagers and bikers.  If you mistakenly hit a biker as a result of him being in the wrong spot/wrong time or him just being a dummy, then that's one thing. but if you use you car as a weapon to harm someone for violating some paint on the road, that's a whole different story.  if it were me I would have shut that camera off and broken many small bones on him because he was "resisting." Irregardless of his age. This old man will die in prison most likely and the world will have better use of its oxygen as a result.  but for you to even try to justify the actions of that F&*^ bag is nuts.

Not saying what the guy did is right, but the guy with the chick on back showed he doesn't give a shit about his lady.  No gear, double passing at a high rate of speed

Yea, I agree that the motorcyclist was doing something stupid and illegal, but the car driver crashing them out took it to a whole different level, completely unjustified. He was self appointed judge, jury and responsible for carrying out the punishment. IMHO the biker's reckless driving had very little to do with it, he would have made the pass and been down the road, the car driver went over the double yellow just to keep him from passing and/or knock him down. I do a lot of bicycling and bicyclists, like motorcyclists, are frequently treated like third class citizens, but they are just people, sometimes doing something stupid at one time or another as all of us have done. If someone went around crashing out V-8 powered RX-7's that maybe were driven at high speed and/or recklesslessly once in a while, there might not be many people on this forum.

The driver was indicted on 2 counts of aggravated battery last month and served jail time years ago for threatening some kids with a shotgun.

Seems clear cut to me, that the party that swerved into the oncoming lane to intentionally ram the other, is entirely at fault. It's not like it was somehow self-defense. It looks like he saw the bike coming and was ready to smash him as he passed.

Read my first sentence.  I'm not justifying crashing the biker, but the same thing could've happened if a rabbit jumped into the car's path as well.
If I'm driving in a no passing zone and something jumps into my path, I'm not checking for someone illegally passing me before I take evasive action.  If nothing is coming the other way then the lane should be clear.

A few years ago I nearly got t-boned by a stupid city cop passing a line of cars, and me, as I slowed to make a left turn on a blind knoll.  If he'd been a half second later he'd have got me right in my driver's door, and it would've been 110% his fault, not to mention if another car had been coming the other way.
I called the police dept and filed a complaint against the POS.  They said he was on a call for a fistfight.  I asked if he thought that justified killing me and anyone else on the damn road.

Crazy that you met the guy shooting the video.  I remember the shitstorm that came when this video first came out.  Bike may have been doing something stupid, but the car driver was out to kill, could have easily let them pass.
