Meet this guy at a local event this past weekend and was so impressed with the car I thought I'd share.

1975 means no re-occuring smog in California.

Quick vid of it running.  180 degree headers make for a distinct exhaust note:
LS2 stroker FC, Mandeville big brakes, widebody, etc

I believe he said 2400 lbs.  All the suspension is SC400 (dual a-arms up front) so it's relatively modern.  It's really only gotten street worthy recently so he has yet to get much beyond fast canyon runs and hasn't really done any cornering balance tuning (swaybars etc) as of yet.  That said, he claimed he liked what he'd found thus far.

That is a very cool little car, done on a small budget -- he got the donor Lexus for $700! -- with lots of hard work and thinking going into it. Makes you wonder what he does for a living.

Cool but I hate the way it sounds.  It reminds me of those boso Style cars in Japan with the stupid ass tail pipes like 10' in the air.
