Turbocharging with a carb. Need info please
« on: December 21, 2012, 10:48:47 PM »
OK so I know next to nothing about carbs... my new project has a BB 383 all low tech -well 1966 tech.

Looking for helpful links to help me determine what carb to go with and the proper set-up -basically what all I need to acquire.

I'm thinking of doing a semi-small twin set-up on her about a 700rwhp goal -do not wanna crack open the engine. I can fab most of the hot/cold sides but any info/links would help.

Thanks all.

Check out theturboforums.com
They have an entire section for carbs

Blow thru is rather cheap and simple

Grab a good C&S or CSU carb and make it happen

I did a lot of reading online before I picked mine and I never saw anything bad written about C&S.

After doing some research my goals are looking quite easily achieved... this might be trouble.  :secret:
