pre 93 t5 v6 trans cases are the same as the v8 ones. Both the v8 and pre 93 v6 will bolt to any sbc or bbc bellhousing. the 82-92 v8 bellhousing is rotated ~15* ccw to put the shifter in the same location as a super t10 4speed, when monted on a standard bell. Iirc the 93+ v6 trans has ford bolt patern and something about the input shaft length changing and spline count. There are sbc to ford trans conversion bellhousings but most of the ford trans first gear ratio is 3.35 chev is 2.95 'V8' v6 camaro is usually 4.01. I did put a 350/v6t5 in a 87rx last year, used a standard 10.5 bellhousing, transadapt 10.5 clutch disk(v6 input splines are smaller than v8(82-92), 7/8 pull slave, 3/4 master, cut down release fork, and had to offset the shifter handle to the rear ~3".
