I went and looked at the car today. It really is a nice car and he has listed pretty much every issue. It's a sharp car that starts and runs.  Not perfect as noted but not a redneck hack job either.   Aside from pretty minor dents, dings and scratches its straight and the top and interior are in very good shape.  It's certainly as advertised.

It might be running a bit rich but doesn't smoke or seem to have any driveability issues just hasnt been fully tuned.

I am not passing on it just trying to unload a car to get the space and cash together but I wanted to vouch for the car for anyone else interested.

That and all the moog stuff at the very least to start.

Generally speaking NA rotaries can be reliable if you keep oil in them and don't overheat them.  I have no experience with turbo ones.

Friends of mine and myself have had roughly ten first gen RX-7s with over 150k on the original motors without issue.  I have personally owned three 84-85 GSL-SE's over 200k on the original motors.  One at 280k and was still running when I sold it.

I DD'd one for 6 years and was only left stranded twice.  Once the rear end blew up (after making nasty noise for a couple weeks) and once when a the coolant temp sensor came unplugged (runs full rich). 

I am interested and could send the money in advance but wouldn't be able to pick it up for a couple weeks.

Doh, misread it as LM7 and harness.  Still a great deal.  If you weren't 9-10 hours away I would pick it up.
