Hey guys!
Well, I'm back. After parting out the drive train in my RX-7, I was able to accomplish a few things I needed to and now I'm ready to go to version 3 of the car. There are a LOT of things I wish I'd have done differently the last go around, so now's the time to do them!
Since I left, I've gotten engaged, bought a Miata, gotten a couple of promotions at work, and generally got things straightened out in my life. I was going to buy another house but that's delayed now that we're getting married and we're going to wait to buy until Niki (fiance) graduates next spring. Said house will have a nice garage, or at least room to build one.
Anyway, the progress on my FC will be slow. Currently it exists as a roller, with just basically the 8.8" solid axle left underneath and everything else gone. My goal for the car this go around will be a drag car since now I have the Miata for everything else. Based on Zac's success with his 370", I'm thinking a 370, 4l80e (if that will even fit? I'll make it fit), decent sized turbo, and an 8.50 cage. This go around I'm going to teach myself to weld and generally fabricate, which will mean buying a tig welder, etc. Anyway, for those of you that have forgotten...
Ring (cost more than the Miata, so it's like a car to me):

It's nice to be back. I've missed this community.
