The M3 will be available again soon.  Pulled the motor and spent alot of $$$ for the engine builder to tell there's nothing wrong with it after a full tear down.  So now its got a new set a bearings because why not....its already apart.  The thought is a faulty sensor gave an inaccurate reading.

The female Officer performed what is known a sympathetic fire.  Without going into too much detail its when one person perceives a threat, hears the gun fire and starts firing as well.  She was alittle late to the trigger but it is what it is.

Blake, I think your being a little harsh on the cops.  Their brains work just like everyone else's concerning perception and reaction time which is approx. 1.5 seconds  The courts have recognized this and given LEO's an approx. 2 seconds to switch from defense mode to another appropriate mode such as apprehension mode possibly

As far as not searching the guy until he was outside.  Imagine if he would've reached for the gun in his waistband as the Officer went to search him in that tiny bathroom.  Bullets easily travel through walls.  Arrests are usually made outside just in case theirs a fight or what have you.  They don't want to disturb the patrons if things go south which they did.

Unless you've ever been shot at you simply just don't know.  The "Don't judge until you've walked a mile in my shoes" analogy comes to mind.

The Lounge / Re: How much power to beat a ZR1 corvette?
« on: May 07, 2015, 11:21:16 AM »
It'll be close.  My FD with 565 rwhp was trapping about the same as the ZR-1's at the Mojave mile.  IMO they had slightly better aero than my setup but I had-400 lbs less weight.  I've driven both cars and when TC is active it feels like the racelogic cycles quicker than the GM system. It felt less intrusive under hard accel.

Now if he throws s snout, pulley, E85 and a tune at his you won't stand a chance......

Boxing isn't dead.  $400,000,000.00 proves that but I agree.  It's becoming more of a "punch percentage" thing which is changing the game.  I still watch both but MMA is more exciting.

Heart wants Pacquiao to sit Floyd down but my heart says Mayweather's got the defense and endurance to come away with a W.  Bought the fight cuz they'll probably both retire after this payday $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

I agree with solo.  Zaguforce is my top pick.  Cobra bound looks good as well.

FYI,  944 is the winning-est P-car in history.

That said Porschephiles are pretty particular.  The market for this is probably more limited than the swapped Mazda.

Yeah right. There isn't a person here who would trade their swapped FD for a 4 cylinder roadster. Especially an early one.

Truth....

KBB.com says 31K in good condition (it's 13 years old) is worth about $14.2K.  FYI.  BTW, excellent condition is $15.3K.

Parts for Sale / Comp cams .623/.623 114+4 Barely used.
« on: April 01, 2015, 08:15:09 PM »
Like the title says.  Trying to clear out my garage of old parts. Part#R3657-09 which comp says is .623/.623 on a 114+4 with a 1.7 ratio rocker.  Came out of the original 441 in my M3 which went 186 in the mile.  Only a couple thousand miles at best.  Pulled for a more "streetable" grind.

Asking $250.

Rich.
