Rob,

I too am from the 'burgh, has a LM7 turbo, then sold it for this Conquest. If you need help, feel free to PM me. I loved my 7, wish I didn't get rid of it.

As dumb as this sounds. Put he Krystal in the ignition to on for ten to fifteen minutes. After that, turn it to off and to start it again. This happened to my wife's sister Malibu. The passive lock made the same exact symptoms. Hope his helps.

Been awhile, eh?

I got a retarded stupid deal on this car. It runs and drives, but needs some desperate TLC. I'm not sure if I'm going to stick with the drivetrain setup for the time being, or swap out for a iron 5.3 and a turbo 350. For now, this is how it sits.

1988 HO seasoned block.
do0ey heads
trw-vr forged pistons
ARP Hardware
Accell ignition
FM Dizzy
explorer gt40 intake
Phenolic spacer
70mm throttle body
FMU
24lb injectors
pro-m maf
New plugs/wires
custom manifolds with crossover pipe
Holset HX52 Turbo
4.5 inch v-band exhaust to 3 inch all the way out to tuner muffler
18x8 18x10 rims Black with silver flake lips
C6 tranny
shift kit
Autometer gauges in the dash (speedo, tach, volts, water, oil, fuel)
a9l Computer
B&M slap shifter
Tial wastegate

I'm not too keen on the Ford stuff, I like the GM stuff more, but since its in here, might as well use it. Hopefully will be doing some basic tuneup and figuring out what the fuck is wrong with it from there.

And as I explained to you I was out of town for this weekend and next. I also offered to put a downpayment on it as well. I visit this site most often, thus why I saw this. Goodluck with the sale again, something isn't adding up for me right now.

So I guess all those emails about a deal we were going to do are off then I guess. I've been emailing him back and forth for a solid two weeks. We made a agreement on the sale price, and that I was going to drive down and trailer it home. Goodluck with the sale then. I'm not calling him dishonest, he listed everything he told me about the car. But after seeing this post this morning and emailing him last night that I was going to pick it up in two weeks makes it kind of fishy. Just wanted to make this post so others might not get burnt. Goodluck again with the sale.

The Lounge / Anyone ever deal with Arbitration?
« on: October 20, 2011, 06:49:28 PM »
Long story short, I had a court hearing against a contractor that did a subpar job on my roof, and I took him to court. He never showed. I went before a judge and was told by a lawyer he has no chance to appeal, and the sheriff will visit him to inventory what valuables he has so I can recoup my money. My question, has anyone ever dealt with this, and if so, how long did it take for you to get your money back?

Does the car have heat or powersteering? What did you  want for it outright.
