Great work.

What power steering mount/pump is that?  And is it modified by Turn One?

Like you can use 800 WHP on the street anyway. You won't miss 50 HP. I am unsure who you are arguing with because I agree with you. Put this on, you'll be down 20-40 HP depending on your setup and have a car that is more livable and more pleasant to be in.

These are not performance mufflers for the level of power most V8 cars make. These are performance mufflers for a car made 20 years ago making 250HP. There is a difference. A stock 5.3 truck LS makes 300 HP, and a single 3 inch is considered "adequate" for performance in that application.

OMG 20-40hp.

Ok great are you done?

If anyone else wants any info, please PM largeorangefont directly.  He can give you some figures you want to know, and talk you out of anything around 800hp or higher because it is not worth having on the street.

All kidding aside, if you are interested in purchasing the muffler, post here or PM me.  Otherwise PM each other.

Bullshit.  It is a straight through muffler that will 'Y' into the twin tips.

I've had this on a 402 with a turbo, and with a F1A and made over 800 to the wheels.  Throttle response was excellent, and still boosted over 20psi.  I've had it on a dual into 3", and 4" to 3-1/2" to 3".  The limit of the 3" pipe is what kills power, and/or bends that are short radius/kinked/or smaller than 3".

The muffler is completely at the back of the exhaust where the gas is the coolest, and restriction is minimal.  Yes a completely 3" straight-through exhaust would make more power, but minimal gains, and this muffler is way more quiet with no drone.  Don't bore me with bs numbers you have seen on a dyno.

This site, as well as RX7Club, has become absolutely retarded when it comes to people invading someone's sale thread.  Let the person sell his goods and get lost.

I would not classify a dual tip y with reduced core size as a "straight through" although by definition of a straight path through the muffler... sure.

No one has interfered negatively at all and no one said your car was not fast or didn't make power snowflake. The quieter a muffler the more restrictive it is, almost universally. And no, the pipe itself is not the main restriction. I'd love for you to explain how a restriction (muffler) at the cold end of an exhaust flows better than the 3 inch pipe itself.

To make a car more driveable and enjoyable, this is a great muffler. It will not make the most power, if that is your thing.

Correct.  It will not make the most power, nowhere near make the least power, and it is a great muffler.

It will make the car drivable and enjoyable, and it looks nice because it's made for this car vs a universal muffler.

Oh yes, and it will not drone, so no need to add a resonator or any other type of add-on.

It's not that I don't there is a power difference, I think the difference on the street is very minimal.  Barely noticeable on a mainly driven street car.

We are using V8s.  For real numbers, use a bigger exhaust period, and then you wouldn't use this muffler.  So yes you would gain more power with a larger exhaust (depending on cubic inch), and the gains between a straight through muffler and this muffler is minimal especially on a NA LS motor.  And then tell me about your drone that you're trying to fix with your straight muffler that you just gained 15hp with.

You asked about this muffler compared to a cutout.  Ok, where is the cutout placed?  Same spot as where the muffler starts?  Or are we comparing a full exhaust with this muffler to a cutout at the header?

That is in excellent condition.... and I have approached Racing Beat to just sell the muffler portion without success..... gotta pay to play!

I have this on the LS9 turbo car and it is crazy quiet..... I use an open cutout to bypass it when racing.  On the street it sounds like a kitten thru this!

Mark understands how well this muffler performs.  I've tried many 3" mufflers on this vehicle since 2003 and nothing performs as well while being so quiet.

For sale is my Racing Beat Dual Tip Muffler.

Anyone who knows this muffler understands that this is the most quiet, 3", straight-through muffler available for our cars.

This muffler has low mileage (>10,000), and was only used in good weather (didn't see any rain). Only this muffler (what you see in pictures) is included.

 Price is $350 + shipping.

 PLEASE PM ME IF INTERESTED.

I bought these mats back when I had a blower on the FD and never used them.  They are creased from being folded sitting in the garage for so long, but otherwise never used - mint shape.

These are the upgraded mats with the thicker matting.

$120 delivered anywhere in the U.S.
