Drivetrain / Re: Changing from LS1 to L92

Yep, jwvand02 covered most of it.

If I were you, I would just pull your harness and PCM and upgrade to the newer style harness & superior E38 PCM.

Way less headache then trying to convert everything to an older style 0411/P59 PCM.

PSI Wiring offers nice stuff for an affordable price: https://www.psiconversion.com/products/standalone-wiring-harnesses/ls-58x/HAR-G4WM.html

Just looked through the gallery, beautiful vert! Attention to detail is top notch.

I can't imagine how good it sounds with the top down!

Hopefully she sells quick for ya :)

I disliked the video because you are convincing me to forgo my kid's Christmas gifts this year to buy an LS7.

I agree man. OEM PCMs offer so much more resolution & refinement, howbeit that depth does come with increased complexity the more extreme the build is.

Thanks Blake, car has been a great escape all these years.

Come onnnn get a 427 😂 There’s a theme if you’re still posting on this forum you’ve either gotten more cubes or more turbos.I vote strongly for at least a 6.2. That’d be such an awesome upgrade

I would LOVE a 427 but I think that would be a little too much sauce haha! I know I will most likely go the 6.2L route...I have tuned so many LS3/L99/L92's & I still am amazed how much power they make with very modest bolt ons.

Took the FC out a couple nights ago. Business has had me so busy I rarely get to drive my FC. It is always a good "Litmus test" after being in LSX swapped vehicles all day.
Nothing really compares to a swapped RX-7, but still, had some fun moddified vehicles to tune.

Posted on the Facebook account and got a ton of kind words. Glad to see a bunch of gearheads swapping

The LS2 flywheel/LS7 clutch combo is finally starting to slip (was pulling 49.2 lb/min airflow @7k because of the awesome air temps).

Thinking about pulling the engine next winter and doing a refresh to the engine OR finding a gen 3 6.0L block and going another N/A route. Maybe a Gen 4 6.2L if I can find one for a reasonable price.

Would like this pig to have about 550 rwhp N/A. That would suffice. An 8.8 is in order as well.

Oh....I also got my overhead dome light operating again after all these years.  Haha...it is the little things right!?

Immaculate work! Well done 8)

I remember when these cars first came out, there was a LA cop who did an LS3 swap immediately after purchasing it. He had nothing but good things to say about the cars behavior with the new power plant.

Looks good man.

I really want a C6Z but they are hyper inflated now.

I really enjoyed tuning my brother's '03 Z, if I had a long commute daily, I would consider one.

Other than the color, it was extremely comfortable, sounded nasty and had decent get up (TEA heads, longtubes)

Yes, paint it. Your FD is a simplistic clean, keep it that way ;)

OTR intake render looks awesome! That is one of my last items I want to do to my FC....just don't want hood pins :(

Start up sounds healthy. Can't wait to see some in car footage at WOT.

Keep up the awesome work buddy!

A wee bit of odor from time to time if I have a head wind at a stop light but definitely not super strong.

All in all, I would say the odors are barely noticeable on most drives.....the cat-less exhaust odors coming from the rear of the car are much more apparent  haha!

Thanks for the compliment on the installation. I worked hard to make it clean and subtle.

Oh yeah, still pulling the same amount of vacuum since I installed it. Most asked about modification  when I stop at meets/small car groups.  :)  Most mistake it for an A/C compressor...once informed on what it is, their curiosity really kicks in haha!
