It's a huge risk buying a car unseen. 10x as worst if it's a swapped car. The issues seem minor except for the vibration. Good luck on getting the kinks worked out.
The shifter plate can be bought as I believe mattster makes one or you can make your own.
If reverse is hard to get into, the reverse lock-out solenoid is probably not hooked up.
The grinding in 3rd/4th could indicate you need a transmission rebuild.
Try to figure out if the vibration is driveline related or wheel related.
