Cars for sale / Procharged V8 RX8 21k

Unfortunately I am considering letting go of everything that has consumed my life the past 2 years, the first Procharged V8 swapped RX8 (that I know of)
Sheldon Cramp spent 527 hours on this build for me when the 6.0 was being put in it. I spent the past 2 months ripping it apart and transplanting the 5.3 into it.
110k on Chassis, 31 miles on motor, 41 miles on trans and rear diff
2008 Gen IV Aluminum 5.3, 799 Heads, Head studs, Ls6 Oil pump, LS3 cam,
D1SC Procharger
Siemens Deka 80lb injectors
Venturi Jet Pump kit
Custom dual in-tank twin fuel pump
Ohlins R&T Coilovers Custom valved for build
Stainless Works LTHeaders
Ported LS2 intake
MazdaspeedRep Bumper
AIT Raiden Carbon Fiber hood
FD RX7 TT Auto 3.9 Rear Diff
WARR 92MM Throttle Body
Fresh rebuild F-Body T56 with GTO Shifter
Monster LT1-S Clutch
Enkei Rpf1 18x9.5 +45 275/35/18
Godspeed High Boost Intercooler
Tial Q BOV
MazdaSpeed3 Seats
I have a huge ass list, but no one cares to see all the minor details that go into a build like this.
I would really hate to see so much hard work, stress & my savings just vanish. But I'm not sure I have the time, space, or mindset to continue investing in this vehicle.
Current issues on the vehicle that should be addressed
-Proper tune
-Reverse isn't working?
The car needs a good tune. The MSD is self tuning and very conservative from what most say. I have the car driveable but you MUST downshift to stop. The car will
The trans was rebuilt and ran through the gears great. Reverse worked also. After a freeway run, I went to back the car into a parking spot, and reverse didnt engage. The clutch can be released as if its in Neutral while the shifter is put in reverse. 1-6 work flawlessly. But Reverse is not engaging.
I'd honestly rather just buy a motorcycle for my speed thrill and a truck for dailying at this point or a C6 Corvette.
With that being said, I am open to offers & trades. I am a car enthusiast and enjoy anything without stigma. I have 29k in parts alone, and 5k+ in labor, not including my own hours. I am asking 25k respectfully. I am considerate of the issues that need to be addressed and am willing to negotiate.

Price dropped to 21k for limited time. Found something I absolutely have to try to get before it sells

No more misfire/ECU problems.
Needs a good tune to unleash its power, definitely not as wuick as the 6.0 but more streetable.

Knocked out a ton of shit today with my buddy Steve.

Should be back on the road soon!
I want to change out all my control arms but that'll have to wait.
Eventually I'll have every single bolt on the car changed out.

Subframe pulled, long block assembled, balancer pinned, clutch torque'd to spec, bolted on to subframe.
Ohlins front installed.

Laying the heat reflector today and lowering the car onto the drivetrain assembly.

Starting to get exciting again :)

Fuckin A. Beautiful build and steal of a price. Wish I could sell the swapped 8 and pick this up.

3rd, 4th, 5th & 6th carbon kevlar synchronizer rings

Anyone want to buy this and trade the RX8 for it?

No?

Yeah didn't think so.
That color is beautiful on the FD. Very fair pricing also.

Lol, yes but a problem to say the least!

Machine shop hasn't called. Made the decision to pick up an aluminum Gen4 5.3 shortblock.
15k original miles, fresh rebuild for boost.

Aluminum gen4 5.3 HO from an 08 Sierra 15k miles
All new clevite bearings total seal rings gapped @ .025 and .027 (for boost or nitrous)
Pro comp head studs, all new gaskets and seals including head gaskets
25k miles LS3 cam, springs, and pushrods New LS2 head duty timing chain
LS6 oil pump, New LS7 lifters
New NGK Br7ef plugs gapped @ .040
15 ZL1 Camaro red plug wires

Seller is keeping his heads and I'm throwing on my 799s (which is what he had anyway)
Should be able to run quite a bit more boost but gonna keep this pulley on it for now and break the motor in. Once I can lay down some power I'll pulley down for more boost and run meth.

Gonna flip the 6.0 or rebuild it with forged internals over time. Hope to have the car on the road within 2 weeks

Hahah, yeah man. I was gonna go baller status and pay for a black out and some clean LEDs (none of that oracle BS) but couldn't justify the price when it was so easy to do on my own & I haven't really found a style that sold me on these.

I'll probably black out the reflectors since they're HID/Xenons with projectors anyway.

Everyones starting to bring out the bikes & its making me want to sell the procharger to pick one up.

Gotta fight the adrenaline rush urge and be patient </3

Motors finally disassembled, gonna have to get it cleaned which puts me back until Tuesday to take it to the shop because of memorial day weekend.
 :banghead:

Been doing some other small things on the side for the car.
Swapped some MazdaSpeed Seats into the RX8.

Also swapped lenses on the headlights from my original roller that had tons of dirt and corrosion IN the headlights.

So after our test run we drained the oil & put fresh oil in again.

This time we hear something in the bottom end.

Fuck.

Same thing happened to my buddy Joe. He works at the Chevy dealer with one of my good friends since we were kids, Kevin. He called "rod 6 or 7" also. Turns out its both.

Time to call in some favors.

So I put on the new wheels. Bumper is just chillen on it.
Took some pics.

Towed her over to where a couple of my friends work, changed out the control arm, did the alignment & used an "air lift" for the radiator fluid.

Got it running and finally took it for its first drive!
