The FD always came with eccentric bolts. The older subframe from Justin used the stock bolts as-is for adjustment. The newer frame requires you weld on the crescent moon looking pieces of metal that increases the amount you can adjust the lower c-arm.

ok, thank you for clarifying! I'm new to the chassis, none of my friends have had FDs so I'm just learning as I go.

I bought my car with a Samberg subframe already installed, I basically bought someone else's unfinished project and learning as I went re-building it. I spoke with someone at Samberg a little while ago about my subframe. It seems it's an older version, it has these eccentric bolts but they aren't welded, as I was told the newer subframes have welded ones? I'm just a little unclear about which bolt does what adjustment (camber and caster I assume), hopefully someone here can learn me. My FD is being built mostly for weekend drifting nonsense, I'd love to increase the caster as well as have more camber adjustment than just whatever I get from lowering the car, which is what I was told is the only way to adjust camber on FDs.


edit, I've read through a few threads about the welded eccentric bolts, but it seems everyone was already knowledgeable about exactly how it all worked, I just need someone to clear up what bolt does what, if it needs to be set and welded or could I adjust it, etc....

Selling 4 Rota RT5s, 17x9 +25 5x114, only about 200 miles on them. one wheel has a scratch on the inner barrel but it's not very noticeable when mounted.

The car is on coilovers, using 20mm spacers and 235/40/17s in the pics.
