Cars for sale / Re: FS: (project) 1994 Mazda rx-7 5 speed montego blue/tan

bought the car in its current condition. the damage on the side looks like a low speed parking hit on the rear quarter panel. i bought the car from its original owner.

clean title

has sunroof

full interior. i also have a good condition black leather passenger seat(planned on doing all black interior just need driver seat and carpet)

the vehicle was driving at the time i took out the engine. to my knowledge all the electronics work in the interior.

i really wanted to finish this project but right now its just not the right time for me. and trust me i know how rare these FD's are becoming. Someone finish what i started..... i would love to see this monster come to life.

if anyone want a pictures of a specific shot of the car, i can add them to the photo album. i want to disclose as much info as i can to the potential buyer.

Hey everyone,

Its time for me to let go of my project,  I have a 1994 Mazda rx-7 w/ sunroof. car currently have 138k on the chassis. I removed and sold the 13b and trans. currently the car has the Samberg sub-frame installed but can be removed if buyer wants to convert back to 13b , I removed everything very carefully so you can plug and play . My intentions was to swap a 98 camaro LS1 + t56 which i have on the side thats also for sale.

everything is located in San Francisco, CA

rx-7 : 4500 OBO
brand new complete Samberg lsX mounting kit w/ drive shaft: 1700
98 camaro ls1 w/ t56 trans(150k): 2500

picture of car below. pictures of other parts available upon request!

Samberg Performance / my rack wont line up...
« on: August 23, 2014, 12:44:26 AM »
hey everyone i just started my ls1 fd swap and i am having some trouble. i have a 94 rx7. i am using the samberg mount kit and i am in the process of installing the p/s rack. when i try to thread the bolt thru the steering linkage to the steering shaft its short by about 1/8 of an inch.. has anyone ever encountered this problem?

i have installed the p/s spacers provided with the samberg kit and i shifted the rack as close to the firewlall as the bolts allow. still no go.

could it be that the subframe is shifted too far forward causing the issue i am having??

hey everyone,

i have a 94 rx7fd bought with a dead engine. i also have a 98 camaro z28. i always dreamed about big muscle and now i am going to build my dream car. Ideally i would like to keep things as stock as possible. hopefully become my daily driver and get 20mpg? i am trying to also get the coveted BAR- sticker being that living in CA sucks balls. i hope everyone will help me  to reach my goal. thanks everyone.
