No way, that car is one of the first cars I saw online that gave me a big enough boner to check out swapped FD's. Sad to see you have to sell it but hopefully she gets a good home.

Hey man I'm not too far from the Atlanta area. I'm an engineering student with a co-op job in Cleveland, GA (living in Helen). I currently have an 08 Mustang Gt with a few mods but i plan on doing an FD LS3 swap in about a year or so. Id probably like to check out the car sometime or maybe go for a cruise around the mountains to see how bad the RX7 outhandles my under powered tank haha.

I fixted it to more better.

Hey, watch your language.  You probably meant moar or mower, or perhaps even Moore.  This guy's gonna think wear all raving lunatics.

Oh, welcome to the form, how much money do you have?

Haha raving lunatics make things more fun-interesting. I'll  likely have a bit over 20k saved up before i graduate without too many student loans. at that point i'll have a full time engineering job and will be saving up till the time's right to pull the trigger. all in all id say i'm aiming for the 25k-30k range. basically looking to have something oem type quality/reliability that i can daily drive, and thrash on. maybe a track day or two.

though a bit more expensive, I like the 3m stripe off wheels that attach to any handheld drill. It's like a big eraser that you spin. they're like 40 bucks.

Hey guys,

Currently own a slow 08 Mustang Gt with pretty much full bolt ons. I've got a little less than a year till I graduate college with a Mechanical Engineering degree and plan on doing an FD LS3 swap once I get situated somewhere. I've read bits and pieces here about LS swaps but would like to find some detailed build threads so i can get a better idea of what to expect.

Also seeing as these cars are about 10 yrs old now is there often an issue in finding stock replacement parts? ie. interior, body panels, lights etc. Maybe some suggestions in sites to look at? or do you guys frequent private sellers/junkyards?

Anyways, just a noob here looking to build a badass rx7 in the future and could use some direction from those more knowledgeable!
