Vue's are definitely full electric. A lot available cheap because of timing chain and A/T trouble. It would be interesting to see one done.

I need the empty hole to be on the inside to get max camber. Are you sure you have the slotted hole on the lower mount of the coilover maxed out ?

So why must it go on dry?  The GM service manual lists that it should, but is there any reason?  I installed mine the same way I install them on every other car Ive ever worked on - dry on the OD and with a bit of grease on the ID.  Haven't had a single drop of oil come out of it.

I wondered that too but I didn't want to be the guy to find out.

The Performance Products looks nice and is SFI-approved  The power Bond is not approved although I think they have one that is

I have a Professional Products # 80032 damper from Summit - good price and no trouble

What kind of paint are you using.   If it is a basecoat it will not have any gloss until you clear coat it   If it is a single stage paint the correct reducer and hardener are important

Had a great time with Zac and Megan, also with David and Nikki.  Caught a ride with Steve around the road course which was my favorite part of the weekend.  It was fun meeting Jerel as well.  Met Dave and his ls1 FC but he tossed a rod bearing to end his day at the road course.  I also won a trophy and 200 bucks in gift certificates. Car ran 12.20 @ 111.9 with a 1.67 60' on motor, can't complain about that with a JY 5.3 cam only and a full interior FC... Good weekend.

Congratulations a trophy and certificates is better than a broken car.  It was great meeting everyone.  Looking forward to the fall event already.
Dave

I ran track days with an F-Body pump wo/cooler last year.  The steel pressure line got so hot it melted wire loom running next to it
