Glad to see this thing is alive again. Planning on doing any half mile events with the car after the changes/updates have been made? Or planning on just cruising in it from here on out?

Man I'm jealous of that 4 link setup. Ideal for the track. I up vote the tubular front end. It'll make maintenance a lot easier and free up some room. Looking forward to seeing your build unfold.

Do you plan on street driving the car at all? Or just a track queen?

Car looks great man. Mind sharing the specs on your Weld/Hoosier setup? Did you have to grind down brake calipers to get them to fit? I know many have had to do that due to clearance issues. If this is in the thread already, my bad.

Thanks, I didnt have to grind any brake calipers, just had to use a socket cap screw on the trailing arm.

Specs are:
15x9.5 6.5bs"
15x4.5 2.5bs" (with 8mm spacer)

This is ideal fitment for rolled fenders

Tires are 25x5 fronts and 26x11.5 Hoosier QTP's. They grip amazingly on the strip, I would bog from a 5k clutch dump

Thanks for sharing! Looking forward to the next updates.

awesome pick up!

Thanks man. Unfortunately, I don't think mine will be staying silver but we shall see.

Bumping this for the homie.

Nice car, I love Silverstone.  My car only had like 50k on it when I got it 10+ years ago... and I've maybe put 5 on it since.  Blown rotaries keep the miles off FDs like a champ.  You can get another hatch easy, I wouldn't even bother with a rustectomy.

Yeah, I plan on ditching this hatch and just getting another one. I gotta say, I've never been a fan of silver but I do like the Silverstone. Not sure if it'll stay this color or not but we shall see.

Sharp looking FD.  Is that rust below the hatch glass?

Thanks man. And yes, there is a bit of rust along the window trim below the hatch glass.

I created a thread when I first joined here but I figured that I'd go ahead and start another one. After about THREE years of searching for an FD that hadn't been molested, I finally found one. The car is a one owner, 1993 Touring model (to my knowledge), and the odometer reads a ridiculously high 28,870 miles. The owner was a retired oral surgeon and stated that he drove the car to Texas a few times and putted around the city in it so it was not abused and kept up. Enough babble, onto the pictures.

Like I said, ridiculously high milage...  :o

I guess you could say that this is one of those rare "barn yard finds". The car sat an auto shop for about two and a half years and was pulled in and out of a bay daily to make room during business hours. A friend of mine who does electrician work was doing some work for the shop spotted the car, contacted me, and put me in touch with the shop owner. After about four months of speaking with the shop owner I finally received a call from the owner where we negotiated price and set a date for pick up. Like the title says, patience is a virtue and it was definitely worth the wait.

The cars looks great. Love the color you chose and that Milspec harness really makes a huge difference. It cleaned up the engine bay nicely. I was wondering, did you keep A/C or did you remove it?

Glad to see you're back into another build. Your last car was so clean. Couldn't believe you got rid of it. Are you planning on doing the same wire tuck on this car as well?
