Title: Swapped '93, LS1/T56
Post by: ccadkins1 on December 18, 2017, 06:44:28 PM
Fully sorted, well done LS1/T56 swap.  Chassis has 155K miles.  Engine and transmission are from a 2004 Pontiac GTO (all aluminum, 350hp) with 70K miles.  New F-body oil pan/pickup. Improved Racing pan baffle.  Improved Racing oil cooler adapter with thermostat, dual oil coolers with braided AN lines/fittings. Dual electric fans (PCM controlled). Stock tune with VATS, skip shift, and secondary O2 sensors deleted.  New upholstery, new JVC KW-V820BT touch screen with Apple CarPlay, DVD player, and backup camera, Infinity speakers (4), Optima battery mounted in passenger side rear storage bin, all gauges and factory heat/AC work as new (factory heater box was disassembled and all foam replaced).  ASA wheels, stagger fit.  Tein lowering springs. Edelbrock coil covers. Samberg radiator and cold air intake.  Hinson front subframe, Samberg bumpsteer correction, Granny’s dual hump transmission crossmember and adjustable diff. brace.  Aluminum driveshaft. Brembo rotors.  Walbro 255 pump.  All AN/PTFE-lined fuel lines. Rare non-Bose package tray, original floor mats, Efini steering wheel, R1 chin spoiler, Sleek HID headlights, S2000 stubby antenna.  Car needs paint, but nothing else.  Starts, runs, and drives flawlessly.  Gets 23.8 mpg on the highway.  Full build log with receipts, photos, documentation.  I built this to keep, but life is dictating otherwise.  Call or message any questions. Vehicle is available for inspection prior to purchase.  606.331.3842[attachimg=1][attachimg=2][attachimg=3][attachimg=4][attachimg=5][attachimg=6][attachimg=7][attachimg=8][attachimg=9][attachimg=10]

This car was listed on eBay a week or so ago. Not sure what it sold for. Last bid I saw was 14k.  OP seems to be MIA.

You would think if somebody wants to sell a car they would respond or at least put a price tag on the item. Oh well.

Why such shitty gas milage, is that normal for ls2 fd’s? I thought mpg on swapped 7’s were more in the 28-30 range?

Low to mid 20's ain't bad for a stock LS, and it goes down with mods.  ;)

That is not good at all, I had a WS6 that was cam and full bolt ons and still got 27mpg and that was 700-800lbs heavier than an rx7, seems like a swapped 7 should get at least 28-30mpg especially if stock, maybe a lot of people need better tunes

That or drive them!  I get 16 all around on every tank fill up and tune is spot on, I didn't get the car for MPG.   :drive:

Yeah...if I'm filling up often I'm not usually questioning where the gas went lol  :drive:

I'll bet rear axel on the WS6 was 3.42 not the 4.10 of a stock RX7
