Post by: baldeagle432 on September 08, 2015, 10:58:44 PM

Thanks for all the pictures. I was asking about the parts you had to buy to make this work. Like the front accessories pulleys, which crank pulley, what belt you used.

Does your car have ac? Power steering?

Just the small details that actually makes it work on the engine. Not so much for the fuel and tuning etc.

Thanks,
Bret

It doesn't have ac or powersteering but there is a guy that makes a set of pulleys to run the lsa off stock f body assesories.  I used all ctsv and modified the f body alternator bracket to work.  Gt500 heat exchanger and bosch intercooler pump session to work well.  Hinson radiator kit and a upper hose from a e350 I believe

this will be a good time!

Is it an LSA pullout?  what mods are done to it aside from ZL1 lid?

How big of a water tank do you plan to run?  where?

That's a painted stock lid.. The ZL1 lid would be hopelessly tall, and the front mounted IC connections would kill even more hood clearance.

That thing is gonna fry tires with authority.

What front mount is that? Is it air to water? What is the pink liquid?

what injectors and rails did you run?

a parts list would be amazing!

It is a heat exchanger. The LSA has the intercooler in the blower, and it is air to water. Pink liquid is probably water wetter.

The fuel rail is OEM LSA, converted for a return setup. He can probably start with the stock LSA injectors. LS3 style injectors fit, and 80# injectors are a common upgrade.

LSA injectors=LS9 injectors.

Cool thanks for the info. I'm really debating on doing this on my 5.3 with the adapters

Sorry its been so long I have been tring to ge the car tuned it been a pain.  Its a heat exchanger off a 2013 gt500 super huge and its not water wetter I work for dodge and we use pink coolant its was just easier to get lol.  ITs a stock rail that modified to a duel inlet and the stock inlet is the return I thought I was going to need a lot more fuel that it looks like im going to need so I will likely make it a return now.  Im using FIC1000 injectors also.

what front pulley setup did you use? did you buy any kits? where did you get most of your parts? any premade stuff?

a parts list would be awesome!

Thanks for the help...

This is researching, when people build something you reach out and ask them like I did. And you posted a lot of pictures with us is cool, but didn't really do much else. And I have did research and I have reached out to others but there's not much information other than people using the stock components, you said you built a couple parts but you didn't give any more information.

What ur doing isn't research man with u using adpaters your build will be different.  Also I put uppics of everything I had to build other then a throttle bracket.  there is a metric shit ton of stuff out there about people doing these swaps also that's how I figured it out.  Months of research also since you are using adapters ull have to change your belt setup the same guy that makes the adapters makes everything youll need to run the belt set up all u need to do is give it fuel.  If your running a fuel cell which most people wont you can do what I did but more then likely people will keep stock tank I didn't like the stock tank so I went fuel cell.  since your doing a 5.7 though you cant do any of the shit I did man so youll need to research what will work I did it the easy way
