Title: 93 rx7 ls1 first start up (HELP!)
Post by: stangbang on July 04, 2013, 03:38:53 PM
What's up every one. I have a 93 Rx7 with a 98 ls1/t-56 swap. We finally got the car fired up the other day and it was missing. After checking a few things we found that the drivers side is not running, but the passenger side is. The coil packs are getting fire, but the injectors aren't. Any one have some light they can shine on this situation?

Have you checked your ground for bank 1 injectors?  Since each injector fires individually and there is a common ground, that would be the first thing that I would check.

Todd's on the right track, but a little backwards.

The LS1 PCM individually grounds the injectors through the PCM using pulse width modulation. However each bank of injectors shares a 12v supply. If a whole bank isn't firing you need to figure out what happened to its 12v supply.

Well that should teach me not to post when I'm up so late. Lol.

Thanks for correcting that halfspec!

Tried that, still nothing. The security is going crazy as well. Do you think we are having a problem with the pcm itself?
