Brake lines, done! ECU placement, done!

I never wanna do brake lines again. That ECU is a tight fit. Had to play with it for a while before it seated in correctly.

You might want to try Ray Crow at Malloy Mazda if you want the stock ones. Or any stock part for that matter he runs the parts department and is a big RX7 guy. He has the best prices for all OEM parts.

F Body compressor.  GTO compressor can be used, if you're real creative.
FC/FD plug and play wiring harnesses, LSx swap AC systems, LSx swap power steering lines.

Just curious, why not the GTO compressor?  Is it just due to the clearance issues that the OP is talking about?

Inlet/outlet is on the side and has marginal clearance with framerail... if you're creative

Pez,

I'm about to start putting my aussie ls1 into a 2000 model rhd this weekend, which is the same as the 04 gto compressor.

What does 'real creative' mean?

Cheers.

I don't think I want to be real creative. I'll post pics when I get back to the shop. It's really tight. I don't think the core exchange is too bad.

Alternator - PS lines clearance
« Reply #119 on: November 02, 2011, 09:17:10 AM »
Welp, before I order the F-Body compressor, is the F-Body alternator different than the GTO alternator? The alternator is touching the top of the PS line. I could bend the line back a bit but it's still going to be close. Anyone run into this issue?
