That's a steep list at that price.  "Done right" shopping at about lowest possible normal price point can be challenging.  You might be better served by taking options in the 20k range and holding out for a good one.

Good luck and welcome to the forum.

I appreciate the advice, I'm just looking for the best deal I can find.

Do you think it's better to just get a nice roller and get the whole thing
Done and over with parts and labor for the same budget? (Under 20k)

Thanks

I just sold my car in the sig for about 19 grand for reference.  It was a stock ls1 and t56 setup...

Id buy a clean roller and do the swap.

A few things to remember. Done right = costly. If you want to pay more you will never get more. If you do the swap yourself, you won't really save much except on labor.

Dude in hind sight I would spend 30, You get so  much for your money in this market, a perfect car that works with lots of after market goodies that you would be getting  at least a 50% discount for, and it is all together and it works.

That's a lot of money, you can start getting into a lot nicer, newer cars for $30k.

C6s, GT500s, etc.

I would disagree a car in that price range would compaire to a non new ferrari. In both power and handling. A ferrari is still a ferrari but your repair and matinance is cheep.

But really for 15 you might get a tired car with an ls1  IN it
but for 30 you can take advantange of the extra 20-40 the po probably spent on it
