I think that was directed to the OP but I feel the pain.  1.23 X the price of the car for a hot rod part.  A part.  For a bimmer???

Okay, now let's put this in perspective.  I paid $900 for a perfectly running FC3S and I must admit I've got probably well over ten grand in it and I want to sell it for half of that.  Go figure.

Nice pictures.  Especially of the Montego Blue RX-7.  Reminded me of my swap when I got my MB Roller back in 2008.

Do post more pictures of your work.

This thread makes me lol, in a good way though.  Nice car(s).  I find it hilarious that you bought a running/driving f-body just for the drivetrain.  A lot of people around where I'm at would cry about what you did lol.  Anyways, I'm interested in seeing how your project turns out.  What are your plans with the other two fd's?  I read above your selling one after the interior swap, just guess I'm curious why you got the other.

Maybe he'll keep it and do a 20B swap. I personally want one of each.

The L99 came in the auto Camaros, and the LS3 came in the manuals. There's a few differences between them. One thing I know is the L99 came with solid stem intake valves, while the LS3 came with hollow stem intake valves.

All the L99 also came with Active Fuel Management, or Displacement on Demand. They have 4 lifters that disable the intake valve from opening. These have been blamed for oil consumption, and some people swap them out for regular lifters along with the valley plate.
